Are you in Belgium for the beer? Then you have to visit the Beer Museum. Opened in 2014, this museum offers a very modern experience to visitors, thanks to iPads that allow you to navigate the information through text, audio and film. You will learn more about the ingredients used to brew beer, but also about the history of beer in the world. You can purchase tickets with or without the beer tasting, but keep in mind that there is a bar where you can taste 5 beers for 10 euros.

Even if you don’t go inside the city hall, surely you will walk by it. So take the time to admire the gothic architecture style. After all, Bruges city hall is one of the oldest city halls in the entire Netherlands region.

9Eat a waffle at Chez Albert

Belgium is not only famous for their beer and fries! They make delicious waffles also. You won’t be able to walk around the city without smelling waffles cooking… And anyway, you can’t visit Bruges and not eat a waffle. So just give up and enjoy this Belgian experience at Chez Albert. It’s one of the most famous places to eat a waffle, so it might be packed with tourists. But you can have a waffle to go and just eat it in peace, by the canal.
